PRE-GAME MEAL SERVICE - Our Hospitality Chairs oversee these responsibilities. Meal service volunteers make sure the band, Directors, and our fabulous PISD bus/truck drivers are served a meal before leaving for the game. Meals are ordered by the Hospitality Chairs from a local restaurant and need to be picked up by a volunteer and the Booster Treasurer (for payment) by approx 3:45pm. Hospitality Chairs, or a designated volunteer, does a Sam's Club run the week of the game for fruit/cookies/chips that will be served with the meal. Volunteers set up the serving line in the CHS cafeteria so that meal service may begin promptly at 4:30pm. Assist students as they go thru the line to understand what options they have to eat. Walk around while students are eating to remind them of their meal time and to clean up after themselves. Ensure Directors and bus/truck drivers are served their meal. Help clean up the cafeteria at the end of meal service. These responsibilities are usually complete by 5:30pm.

FOOTBALL GAME / MARCHING CONTEST CHAPERONES - Our VP's of Chaperones oversee these responsibilities. How about a front row seat to support the Clark Band and Colorguard! Chaperones get a free ride, admittance to games and marching contests, and you sit with and assist the band! At school, assist students putting on marching uniforms in designated rooms near the band hall. Take attendance when students load busses at school, and when they load busses after the game/contest. Ideally we like to have two (2) chaperones per bus. A group text message for each event will be used for communication with Directors and other chaperones. One chaperone will be assigned to carry the basic first aid backpack. Help place plumes on the students shako hats before half-time; remove plumes after half-time; pickup lyres on the field during half-time performance; organize lyres after half-time and pass them back out in stands; when it's HOT outside - help distribute wet towels for cooling after half-time; and restroom runs to ensure our students return to the stands promptly and safe.

EQUIPMENT CREW / PERCUSSION VOLUNTEERS - Our Equipment Chairs oversee these responsibilities. Be creative! Work with the Directors to design and build props! For games and contests, this is an opportunity to get on the field to see the band close up during half-time and contest performances. Help the students unload/load equipment, instruments, props and water coolers. Help the students move band equipment onto the field for performances.

CLUSTER EXHIBITION AT CLARK STADIUM - Our VP's of Chaperones oversee these responsibilities. Help students get ready to leave school! General chaperone duties for uniforms and bus transportation as listed above for FOOTBALL GAME duties. Depending on the schedule, this event may require meal service.

CAT CHOW - Cat Chow is a schoolwide event hosted in the Fall and Spring by the Clark PTSA. Cat Chow supports the PTSA, Administration, and participating Booster Clubs. Clark students are given an extended outdoor lunch in the grass field West of the building where they can enjoy food from local restaurants and time with friends. Participating Booster Clubs are asked for approximately six (6) volunteers each, provide a large pop-up tent, and sell your assigned restaurants food to students! Students purchase tickets for this event ahead of time or during the event at the ticket sales table.

FRESHMAN ALL-REGION CONTEST AT CLARK - Our VP's of Chaperones oversee these responsibilities. Hospitality Chairs order boxed sandwich judge's meals for 4:00-4:15 delivery. Accept delivery in office and set up in 2nd floor Library. Boosters provide snacks/pizza for our student volunteer room. Volunteers needed to perform hall monitor duties, contest room monitors, judges and student room concierge, and work concessions in cafeteria. Set up and tear down of contest rooms with chairs, sheet music stands, and wall dividers. These volunteer opportunities are scheduled in shifts.

PLANO HOLIDAY PARADE - Our VP's of Chaperones oversee these responsibilities. Help students get ready to leave school! General chaperone duties for uniforms and bus transportation as listed above for FOOTBALL GAME duties. Walk parade route with Clark Band. Wear festive holiday attire! Pass out candy to parade spectators if you so desire!

PASTA CONCERTO & SILENT AUCTION - Our VP of Events oversees this annual fundraiser. We host an Italian dinner, concert, and opportunity for shopping all in one evening! We traditionally welcome approx. 1,000 guests on this evening. This takes months of preparation and many volunteers to pull off! Volunteer as little or as much as you are able! There are opportunities to do everything from planning the silent auction, soliciting donations from area businesses in person and online, preparing auction baskets and gift sets from student donations, preparing the auction website, setting up the auction tables the morning of the event, distributing flyers to area middle schools, soliciting drink donations (tea/lemonade), grocery shopping, cooking meals in the CHS kitchen, serving meals, decorating the cafeteria, ticket sales, working the silent auction, spirit wear sales, and MORE! These volunteer opportunities are scheduled in shifts. WE NEED YOUR HELP to make this event happen.

BAND BANQUET - Our VP of Events oversees this special event. This event honors our very own kiddos and Directors! We even honor our deserving volunteer parents! Banquet is all about a year in review. We celebrate all the hard work and dedication devoted toward our amazing CLARK BAND! Volunteers are needed to set up/clean/tear down event space in the Clark cafeteria, decorate, set up food serving space, solicit drink donations (tea/lemonade).
